Working with TV series and documentary makers
What control will you have over what is broadcast? How much of a time commitment will it be for you or your scientist? A panel including a science documentaries producer; a leading scientist who was recently involved in Channel 4’s Animal Farm series, and press officers with experience of various TV projects, ranging from ‘fluffy’ TV series to Horizon, will share their experiences and offer practical tips to help ensure filming – and the broadcast result – goes smoothly. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session, and the event will be followed by a few glasses of wine and a chance to network! Date: Tuesday 9 October Time: 18:30 (registration from 18:00) Venue: Science Media Centre, 19 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS Cost: £10 for Stempra members; otherwise £15 for new members (includes membership) To register: please email events@stempra.org.uk Deadline for registering: Wednesday 3 October 2007
