Experimenting on your audience

Stempra session at the Science Communication Conference

Stempra is running a session again this year at the British Science Association's Science Communication Conference, with you special members' only discount to the whole conference, there's no excuse to miss out.

TV and radio presenters are increasingly keen to carry out experiments on their audience or themselves, while artists seek to incorporate ‘live’ science into their work. This session will explore the ethics and practicalities of experimenting on humans outside the lab. Participants will be invited to take part in a sci-art experiment during the session.

Speakers include Professor Sophie Scott from the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London; Dr Ryan Pink from Oxford Brookes; and artist Julie Freeman.

This event is run by Stempra and takes place as part of the Science Communication Conference. For more information about the conference programme or to register your details, visit the website of the British Science Association: www.britishscienceassociation.org.
