Communication lessons from 'Climategate': The inside view

On 20 November 2009, news spread that thousands of e-mail messages had been hacked from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and posted on the web. It quickly became a headline news story across the world, dubbed by some commentators as 'Climategate', the consequences of which are still being felt today.

So what was it like being at the centre of this global controversy? How did the University's communications team cope? And what lessons do they think can be learned from their experiences?

Alan Preece and Simon Dunford of the communications team at the University of East Anglia will address these questions and provide their personal and professional insights on this global story in an exclusive event for Stempra members.
