The Stempra Christmas event: All I want for Christmas is the Higgs Boson

After the big bang that was the switching on of the Large Hadron Collider, the Stempra Christmas party has a special particle physics theme.

James Gillies, Head of Communications at Cern, gives us the inside scoop on how they created the science story of the year, and Professor Brian Cox tells us what led him famously to describe anyone who thought the world was going to end in September as "a twat".

There'll be the usual heady mix of mulled wine and networking for afters. Places are limited so register now to avoid the inevitable disappointment.
