The Stempra Christmas event: In conversation with Colin Blakemore
"You can never start Christmas too early" is one of the Stempra committee's many maxims, and with that in mind, please join us on Wednesday 5 December for the Stempra Christmas Party.
We're very pleased and honoured to have Professor Colin Blakemore FRS as our guest. Colin will be in conversation with SMC director and renowned raconteur Fiona Fox, who will extract a lively mix of anecdote and opinion from Colin about his time as MRC chief executive, research scientist, communications champion and leading spokesperson on the use of animals in research.
Colin has been at the forefront of efforts to encourage and support scientists to communicate their research, so we're sure to hear a mixture of frank and constructive ways in which the relationship between professional scientists and professional communicators can be further improved.
There'll be the usual heady mix of mulled wine and networking for afters. Places are limited so register now to avoid the inevitable disappointment.
