An evening of 'Bad Science' with Ben Goldacre
Ben Goldacre's new book 'Bad Science' was published in September 2008 by Fourth Estate and has received great reviews from the scientific and general press alike. Come and hear Ben talk about his book, his blog, and what really keeps him (or the Guardian lawyers) awake at night.
Ben Goldacre, for anyone out there who isn't addicted to his weekly 'Bad Science' column in The Guardian, is an award winning writer, broadcaster, and medical doctor who has written his weekly column since 2003. He appears regularly on Radio 4 and TV, and has written for the Guardian, Time Out, New Statesman, and the British Medical Journal.
Goldacre has made much of the failings of press officers, the media and those that prefer the title of science communicators. Does he really think we're that bad? Should a namecheck in Ben Goldacre's 'Bad Science' column be up there in your corporate risk register? Now's your chance to ask!
